Boarding Life at Kingsmead

Full and flexi boarding is available for children aged 9 and over, to both those living in the local area and pupils from much further afield. Boarding gives students the ability to have continuity of study without distraction of the demands of hectic family life and parents’ heavy work commitments. It is ideal for senior pupils in particular.
Our boarders have extended access to many peaceful study areas, including the leafy grounds in the school’s secluded location. There are also the school’s excellent sports facilities and heated indoor pool available for leisure time.

There are two boarding houses at Kingsmead – Meadway Cottage caters for the Girls and Watts House for the Boys, both with separate House Parents.
